The Application Product Manager in our Travel technology team plays a pivotal role in bridging the gap between business needs and priorities, and the corresponding technical solutions. Some of the key responsibilities of the role include:

  • Being responsible for the strategic planning and execution of enhancements to nib Travel’s technology products, platforms, and user experiences.
  • Leading and guiding agile delivery teams towards achieving optimal effectiveness and efficiency.
  • Fostering continuous development in the application of agile principles and practices.
  • Creating and maintaining solution roadmaps by collaborating with various stakeholders and ensuring alignment with nib’s overall strategy and traveller vision.

Experience in application delivery with a long-term strategic product management and/or development mindset will set you up for success in this role! Other skills and experience that are essential include:

  • Expertise in product road-mapping, user research, data analysis and product launch strategic.
  • Experience in leading and managing teams and/or products with concurrent streams of work.
  • Strong business and systems analysis experience and proven analytics, evaluative, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Strong understanding of the solution development lifecycle including agile work practices.
  • Excellent organisational, customer service and relationship building skills.
  • Strong strategic mindset – ability to see the big picture, connect product vision to business objectives, and prioritise features based on strategic value.
