ManTech is seeking qualified individuals for an Applications Support Analyst position to work in a world-
wide, mission-critical Department of Defense (DoD) environment. The successful candidate will be
supporting a large-scale DoD Records Management and Archival System with more than 70 Million
records and more than 27 Tb running in an RHEL environment with users located around the world. This
position will also support 3 smaller MS Windows Access-based systems that automate business
processes for resale operations.
This position will be part of a small team providing daily support to Production-level and Dev/Test-level
systems to include:

CANDIDATES MUST POSSESS THE FOLLOWING QUALIFICATIONS AND PROFICIENCIES:

  • Bachelor’s Degree and 2 Years of Relevant Work Experience or 6 Years of experience in lieu of degree
  • Valid Security + Certification
  • RedHat Linux Operating Systems
  • Windows-based Custom Applications in MS SQL Server and MS Access
  • Adobe Acrobat (Enterprise level)
  • Records Management Systems
  • Task Management Systems
  • Email Archiving Systems.

PREFERRED- Candidates will possess the following qualifications and proficiencies:

  • FEITH Records Management Systems
  • FEITH Task Management Systems
  • Grocery Store Management and Commercial Grocery Systems
  • Custom software development.

The projected compensation range for this position is $72,100-$120,900. There are differentiating factors that can impact a final salary/hourly rate, including, but not limited to, Contract Wage Determination, relevant work experience, skills and competencies that align to the specified role, geographic location (For Remote Opportunities), education and certifications as well as Federal Government Contract Labor categories. Responsibilities:

  • Daily monitoring of key system performance parameters and intervention to remediate below certain thresholds
  • Daily monitoring of system alerts and quick response/resolution for critical events
  • Rotating on-call 24/7/365 support for all 4 systems
  • Daily monitoring and resolution of incident reports from customers around the world
  • Friendly and professional customer service including direct contact with most incident owners
  • Remote access into customer workstations
  • Starting / stopping server services (Tomcat, RHSSO, etc.)
  • Software deployment planning and execution
  • Vulnerability management and remediation
  • Cyber security and risk management framework.
