REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or a related field.
• 3-5 years of relevant experience as an Applications Engineer, Inside Sales Representative, or similar role.
• Strong technical acumen with the ability to analyze complex technical issues and develop effective solutions.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with clients and team members.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to evaluate data and make informed decisions.
• Proficient in SAP and common MS Office applications.

PREFERRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

• Experience in the valve or fluid control industry.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
• Strong customer service orientation with a proven ability to build and maintain client relationships.
• Effective problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to addressing challenges.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment and collaborate with cross-functional teams.

ROLE SUMMARY

Flowserve is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Applications Engineer with both technical and commercial expertise to join our office team. In this role, you will develop tailored solutions for customers and partners in industrial and special applications, acting as a product specialist. You will collaborate closely with sales, development, and other specialist departments to ensure optimal customer satisfaction and technical excellence.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Provide technical support and expertise to defined clientele from the office.
• Analyze customer requests and develop appropriate solution proposals.
• Perform cost calculations, collaborating with relevant departments as necessary.
• Prepare detailed technical and commercial offers.
• Handle order acceptance, review, and preparation for complete order fulfillment.
• Work closely with sales, development, and specialist departments to ensure cohesive and comprehensive solutions.
• Perform any other duties as assigned by management.
