JOB DESCRIPTION

This job role is within Digital Services and Technology in the Vehicle Certification Agency. The Application Operations Engineer maintains services and is responsible for conducting user and security administration. This role reports into the Senior Application Operations Engineer and is part of a multi-disciplined team managing a broad suite of digital products and applications.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Support operation of VCA’s suite of business applications (such as Dynamics 365 and Business Central) in line with business requirements.
• Assist in the implementation of support processes and contribute to any changes required for new applications/functionality.
• Fix technical problems and/or escalate to relevant suppliers for resolution.
• Investigate problems with systems and contribute to the implementation of remedies and preventative measures.
• Design and develop reports in line with business requests.
• Contribute to the development and execution of test plans.
