They are a leading provider of innovative WMS solutions which is tailored to meet the unique needs of businesses in the Manufacturing, Fast Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG), Retail, and Distribution sectors. Due to growth, they are seeking a highly skilled and capable Application Support Consultant to assist with testing and supporting their WMS.
The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of the Multipick solution and confidence working in a Data Driven environment particularly across SQL. Strengths in data, testing, support in live production environments is seen as crucial in this role.
The Application Support Consultant will be responsible for:
- First and Second line customer support.
- Development and bug fix testing across the platform and application layers.
- Assisting the Implementation team and developers as required.
This is an important role within the team, and as such, the successful candidate will be a team player with effective written and verbal communication skills. There is a longer-term career growth path for the right person.
JOB SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS
We need a minimum of 3 years commercial experience in an Application Support Consulting role with MultiPick being the preferred platform.
Required:
- MultiPick WMS Application knowledge.
- MultiPick WMS Database structure knowledge.
- MultiPick WMS Interface knowledge.
- Advanced Microsoft SQL skills.
- Red-Gate SQL Compare and Prompt tools familiarity.
- Microsoft Development experience and support of applications developed using the Microsoft .Net suite.
- Familiarity with DevExpress.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience in providing application support
A degree or relevant qualification Logistics or Supply Chain is highly desirable but not essential.
Responsibilities:
