We are seeking an Applied Scientist to join our algorithm team, focusing on research and development to enhance our product features. You will design, develop, test, and refine machine learning algorithms for analyzing multi-channel time series data related to cardiac signals. You will be responsible for building state-of-the-art ML solutions such as classification, prediction, denoising, anomaly detection, etc. and collaborating with cross-functional teams to implement ML solutions. The ideal candidate is detailed oriented and with a desire to work in a fast-paced start-up environment while handing multiple priorities.

• Innovative ML Solutions: Explore and develop real-time applications and algorithms for cardiac signals, pushing the boundaries of innovation.
• Understanding Electrophysiological Signals: Use machine learning and statistical techniques to analyze and understand intricate cardiac signals, aiding in diagnosis and treatment.
• Modeling and Improvement: Model complex problems and pinpoint areas for algorithmic enhancements, ensuring optimal performance.
• Collaborative Implementation: Work closely with software engineering teams to integrate algorithms into real-time operations, enhancing clinical workflow.
• Documentation and Contribution: Maintain thorough documentation of design requirements throughout the system lifecycle. Contribute to regulatory filings, patents, and industry publications as necessary.

What we are looking for:

• Proficient Programming Skills: Demonstrated proficiency in Python programming languages and working knowledge in C++ and MATLAB.
• Machine Learning Library Experience: Practical experience with Machine Learning libraries like PyTorch, OpenCV and TensorFlow.
• Comprehensive Machine Learning Knowledge: Possesses a broad understanding of machine learning, deep learning, and statistical techniques, essential for developing advanced algorithms.
• Specialized Expertise: Expertise in areas such as time series analysis, self-supervised learning, signal processing, or graph signal processing, showcasing specialized skills applicable to the role.
• Educational Background: Must hold a Bachelor’s and/or Master’s, and/or PhD in a scientific or engineering discipline, providing a solid foundation for technical work.
• Preferences: Previous experience with Machine Learning in cardiac anatomy and electrophysiology is preferred, along with 2+ years of practical experience in developing Machine Learning solutions in the medical domain.
