Description:

An opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic and ambitious nurse or paramedic to train to become an Advanced Clinical Practitioner (ACP) to join our team of ACPs to work with our ED clinicians to assess all our patients over the age of 16 who attend the Emergency Department.
You will need to have a high level of experience in an acute care setting at Band 6 or above and have sound clinical knowledge, whilst also demonstrating managerial and leadership qualities and abilities. The successful candidate will be supported in completing their MSc in Advanced Clinical Practice (Advanced Nurse Practitioner) under the support, guidance and mentorship from ED Consultants.
In order to support our seven-day medicine redesign programme and Ambulatory Care you will be required to work weekends and Bank Holidays.
You should have the ability to assess, diagnose and develop comprehensive management plans for patients under our care. Evidence of working at an advanced level of nursing is essential. Non-medical prescribing would be an advantage. Modules gained at Masters Level in clinical examination and/or diagnostics are also essential for the role.
