Pacific Coastal Airlines (PCA) is looking for an Apprentice Aircraft Maintenance Engineer! This position is based out of a hangar located near South Terminal at the Vancouver International Airport in Richmond.
The Maintenance Department at PCA fosters a team environment. The broad scope of maintenance that PCA carry out provide team members with a complete experience with line maintenance, heavy maintenance, troubleshooting and major component changes in both M1 and M2 aircrafts. TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Graduate of a Transport Canada approved Maintenance training program
- Experience on system installations and Troubleshooting of various systems an asset
- Experience on fleet types and previous time in the industry required
- Must be familiar with the use of specialty equipment required for the position
- Must be able to obtain a RAIC and AVOP
OTHER QUALIFICATIONS:
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Ability to work independently and in a team
- Flexibility to work weekends, nights and holiday on shift rotations
- Willing to travel as required to service all aircrafts in our fleet
- Lift up to 50lbs and stand for long periods at a time
- Able to work in various weather conditions and elevated noise levels
