Description
Due to business growth and demand MSS are now looking to recruit 2 Apprentice Engineers, who will be trained in CCTV, Access Control, Intruder and Fire Alarm Systems. MSS are particularly keen to offer these opportunities to school and college leavers who can grow with the business.
We are a privately owned, expanding business that is looking for an Apprentice Engineer to join our organisation and begin their career journey in the security industry.
We support a growing number of commercial and residential clients through the installation and servicing of a range of security systems and products.
This would be an exciting opportunity for an Apprentice Engineer to gain the practical experience that would complement their studies as they work towards their qualification. Our team of engineer offers a wealth of knowledge, experience and support, through the apprenticeship journey.
Entry requirements
Ideally, GCSE English and Maths to Grade C or above
Driving licence, if not held, by end of Year 3 or sooner
No criminal record as you will need to pass an enhanced DBS
Training to be provided
Fire Emergency Security Systems Technician Level 3 Apprenticeship Standard.
Skills for Security will deliver the apprenticeship training in block release at the closest training centre. You will attend centre one week every eight weeks.
You will be required to complete all training tasks allocated during your block release weeks at the training centre and gather any site evidence needed to supplement your studies.
You will be required to complete an annual assessment at the training centre and take part in any additional training courses that the company require you to complete.
The employer will mentor and coach you on the job. You will also shadow, learn and get involved in all aspects of Security alarms.
