REQUIREMENTS:

• Minimum of Year 10 education or equivalent.
• Strong interest in mechanical engineering and manufacturing.
• Good communication skills and the ability to work well in a team.
• Willingness to learn and take direction from experienced personnel.
• Basic understanding of tools and machinery used in manufacturing.
• Physically fit and able to perform manual tasks.

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE / SKILLS:

• Prior experience or training in a mechanical or manufacturing environment.
• Familiarity with industrial pumps and their components.
• Basic knowledge of health and safety practices in a workshop setting.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and manuals.
• Enthusiasm for continuous learning and professional development.

ROLE SUMMARY:

Flowserve is seeking a dedicated Apprentice to join our team in Australia. This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a dynamic and supportive environment while working with industry experts. As an Apprentice, you will be involved in various aspects of pump manufacturing, learning the skills necessary to become a proficient tradesperson.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Assist in the assembly, maintenance, and repair of industrial pumps.
• Learn to operate machinery and tools used in pump manufacturing.
• Participate in training sessions and workshops to develop technical skills.
• Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
• Collaborate with experienced technicians and engineers on various projects.
• Document work processes and maintain accurate records of tasks completed.
• Attend relevant courses and training programs to enhance knowledge and skills.
