Apprentice Painter and Decorator

Mahon Decorators are currently looking for an apprentice painter to join the team at Mahon Decorating we are experts in all things decorating. Our team is extraordinarily experienced in all that we do.
If you have an eye for detail and design, and like a job that offers visual satisfaction.
Working with qualified and skilled painters you will gain valuable hands-on experience, mentoring and support.

Duties will involve:

• Carry out measurements and calculations.
• Read and interpret plans and specifications.
• Erect and maintain trestle and plank systems.
• Handle painting and decorating materials.
• Use painting and decorating tools and equipment.
• Remove and replace doors and door and window components.
• Prepare surfaces for painting.
• Apply paint by brush and roller.
• Apply texture coat paint finishes by brush, roller, and spray.
