An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our Pre Assessment and Elective Admissions Department as a Receptionist. The department supports patients on the days leading up to their surgery with us along with on the day of surgery. The successful candidate will be an enthusiastic and positive team player. The candidate will need to have experience of working in administrative settings. .Excellent communication skills are essential for this role. The post holders must be able to organise their own workload within defined guidelines.
Working within a multidisciplinary team the post holder will be accountable for delivering high quality, accurate administrative work to support the smooth running of this service as well as supporting the wider Directorate. The post holder will be responsible for delivering, coordinating and ensuring robust administrative processes exist within the service, ensuring KPIs are met. The post holder will act as an interface between the clinical staff, operational staff, other staff members within the Trust, external stakeholders and patients and their families / carers.
Our programme will help you work towards achieving a Customer Service Practitioner (Level 2) Apprenticeship. You will also have the chance to develop your administrative skills on our award-winning in-house courses and through a programme of structured appraisals, support and development.
To provide effective and efficient clerical and reception support to a designated clinic or clinics, ensuring that administration processes meet the needs of all service users.
