Description:
Having recently developed a new CRM system using Microsofts Dynamics 365, Devon Communities Together (DCT) have an exciting opportunity for a Apprentice Systems & Services (Data Analyst). This role will help to develop DCTs internal processes, as well assisting with external facing projects. Using programs such as Dynamics 365, Power BI, and AI software (e.g Chat GPT), the successful candidate will help DCTs data to be impactful and accessible.
This role is a total of 30 hours a week, split between studies with Exeter College and work with Devon Communities Together(DCT). The successful candidate will be working from the DCT offices in Marsh Barton (EX2 8HF) 4 days a week, with 1 day spent at Exeter College. The role holder will be paid the National Apprentice Wage for the first month of employment and thereafter once key deliverables have been hit, the wage will move to the NLW for the remainder of the contract. The projects run by DCT are diverse and ever-changing meaning that the work of the Data Analyst will evolve over time. An example of a recent project is the auditing of over 300 village halls in Devon. This project gathered over 38,000 points of data on the uses and needs of village halls and, through the use of Power BI, will be used as the basis for an interactive map of the village halls of Devon. As well as assisting with external facing projects, this role will play a key role in developing DCT’s internal processes. This might include cleansing data on Dynamics, helping with bulk imports, designing and setting up project dashboards on Power BI, analysing data on organisation contacts. This role will be directly managed by the Digital Systems Lead, but will also work closely with many other team members and will be expected to assist with a wide range of activities as needs arise.
Hours: 30.00 per week
