Description:

An exciting opportunity has arisen within the Workforce Development Team at the North West Ambulance Service for an Apprentice Workforce Development Administrator. This is full-time role on a permanent basis (37.5 hours per week) and is based at Trust HQ at Ladybridge Hall, Bolton and a future centralised education team base. We would consider basing the role at Estuary Point, Speke, in Liverpool should this venue be preferable for the successful candidate.
If you consider yourself to be friendly, approachable, creative, energised and driven to make a difference to people, then this role might be just what you are looking for!
The successful post holder will be responsible for providing comprehensive administrative and project support to the Trust’s Workforce Development Team.
The post will also provide you with the opportunity to complete a Level 3 apprenticeship in Business Administration over an 18-month period. We would also consider applications from candidates who are qualified at this level or equivalent.
As a valued member of the Workforce Development Team, you will find this to be a busy, varied, and fun role, requiring excellent organisation, communication, and creativity.

Responsibilities:

Daily management, monitoring, and responses to dedicated Workforce Development email accounts.
Maintenance of training records.
Providing support and guidance in response to telephone/email enquiries relating to education and training.
Recording and reporting of training activity via the data management systems.
Supporting trainer/educator needs across the learning cycle.
Assisting the Workforce Development Team in daily administrative requirements.
Coordination of meetings and training activity.
Supporting learner onboarding activities and coordination of the training plan.
Attending departmental meetings, taking, and distributing notes as required.
North West Ambulance Service NHS Trust provides 24 hour, 365 days a year accident and emergency services to those in need of emergency medical treatment and transport.
Our highly skilled staff provide life-saving care to patients in the community and take people to hospital or a place of care if needed.
We also provide non-emergency patient transport services for those patients who require non-emergency transport to and from hospital and who are unable to travel unaided because of their medical condition or clinical need.
Alongside the other emergency services, we also work to ensure the safety of the public and treatment of patients in the event of a major incident.
We also deliver the NHS 111 service in the North West. NHS 111 replaced NHS Direct in 2013. This service was introduced to make it easier for people to access local NHS healthcare services in England. It provides non-emergency medical help fast, and is available 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.
Please ensure that you have fully read the job description and person specification before applying for this role
