Busy at Work, the Apprenticeship Community is a national collective of Australian Apprenticeship Support Services providers, with over 40 years of experience in connecting employers and apprentices. We offer advice and tailored support for apprentices, trainees, and businesses to support successful careers and skilled, productive workplaces.

DESCRIPTION:

Exploring the role…
As part of The Apprenticeship Community Australian Apprenticeships Support Services, you’ll spearhead business development, drive apprentice commencements, and exceed KPIs through stellar account management and support activities.

Proactive go-getter who can self-manage to meet deadlines and prioritise tasks at hand
Confidence working autonomously and drive to exceed KPIs and targets
Self-motivated with a demonstrated enthusiastic approach to day-to-day business operations
Desire to work within a client service organisation
Ability to establish strong working relationships with apprentices and employers
Demonstrated business development or sales experience

Responsibilities:

Promote traineeships and apprenticeships, securing commencement opportunities
Participate in marketing and promotional initiatives, including school visits and other venues
Foster relationships with employers, RTOs, and industry stakeholders
Maximize business opportunities with existing clients
Stay updated on policy changes and new initiatives
Guide clients through sign-up processes and government forms
Provide quality account management services
Ensure precise system data entry
Provide initial and ongoing support to Australian Apprentices including, facilitating face-to-face progress contacts
Administer effective tests to assess individuals’ skill levels, identify gaps, and evaluate aptitude for various training paths and occupations
