    Client Operations Support Section is looking for an ASP5 to occupy the position of Secretary Support Officer.
    This position is required to deliver high quality input and professional services in the areas of coordination and management of the Secretary Support inbox. This role involves applying creative and innovative approaches to complex and sensitive issues, and managing multiple competing priorities to enable timely, effective and coordinated service delivery whilst exercising sound professional judgement.
    This role will also include supporting the Feedback Management Team when required.
    The occupant of this position will work in a small team, with operational and administrative oversight provided by the Assistant Director.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide high quality support to the team including mailbox management, collating records and maintaining registers.
  • Supporting the development and streamlining of operational processes and procedures for increased business efficiency.
  • Assisting to manage, coordinate and respond to client feedback via the Departments CFMS including the allocation of team tasks as directed.
  • Contributing to the management and coordination of requests for client information, and the production of associated documents.
  • Work collaboratively and be a coordination point to meet business priorities.
  • Provide support in the development, coordination and distribution of reports, briefings, papers, submissions and correspondence for use in both internal and external decision-making forums.
  • Provide assistance and support in a range of organisational quality improvement activities.
  • Support an environment that encourages a willingness to adopt participative work place practices in line with policies of WHS, Workplace Diversity and the Australian Public Service values, Employment Principles and the APS Code of Conduct.
  • Contribute to staff development training and On the Job Training (OJT) where required.
  • Other duties as determined to support business operations outcomes.
