APS 6 - BOOKSHOP MANAGER

The Library is seeking to fill a ongoing Bookshop Manager (APS 6) role in the Community Engagement Section of the Engagement Branch.
As the Bookshop Manager you will be responsible for online and onsite retail sales operations for the National Library of Australia.
This includes managing and developing staff to deliver high quality customer service. You will be responsible for all facets of product and inventory management including purchasing and inventory as well as product range development.
You will have the opportunity to liaise with the National Library of Australia customers and stakeholders providing access to Library merchandise and publications. Working with internal stakeholders, you will be instrumental in the promotion of the Library’s Bookshop and well as having the opportunity to support National Library events and activities.
We are looking for someone who has high level leadership and team management skills, proven skills in change management and someone who is dedicated to delivering organisational outcomes.
Bookshop retail experience, including financial and inventory management would be desirable.
Applicants must have the ability to obtain a Working with Vulnerable People registration.
