The Library is seeking to fill the position of Imaging Team Leader (APS6) on a non-ongoing basis from 29 May 2024 until 20 June 2025.
Responsibilities:
The Imaging Services Team operates as a shared service delivery and project support resource pool for the Digitisation Projects and Trove Community Services Sections.
As the Imaging Team Leader you will be required to undertake resource planning, management and allocation work that can be complex in nature, requires negotiation and prioritisation experience and must be able to work under limited direction.
In this role you will use your leadership skills to supervise, develop and support imaging team members.
As imaging Team Leader, you will demonstrate innovation and strategy by contributing to the continuous improvement of the imaging team and by assisting with the implementation of work plans, which includes providing advice, prioritising tasks and managing workflow and resources.
You will develop and maintain internal and external relationships and support internal and external networks as required. You will also be responsible for customer service and the delivery of imaging services to key internal clients as well as providing assistance and advice on technical and production issues.
In this role you will gain:
- An understanding of the Digitisation Project Sections Image Capture Guidelines.
- An understanding of Care and Handling requirements for Library collection material.
- An awareness of the Library’s Indigenous Cultural and Intellectual Property (ICIP) Guidelines.
