JOB OPPORTUNITY: APS4 CORPORATE SUPPORT OFFICER
Are you a proactive and have great time management skills with a passion for providing excellent administrative support? We are looking for an APS4 Corporate Support Officer for a permanent ongoing position with our Federal government client in Sydney CBD.
KEY SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:
- Previous experience in administrative or corporate support roles.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Proficiency in office software and systems.
- Knowledge of procurement processes and contract management principles is desirable.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:
- Practical Administrative Services: Provide practical and professional administrative support across the agency, including investigating and resolving moderately complex operational issues.
- Communication Management: Monitor and prioritize incoming communications, ensuring timely responses and appropriate action.
- Office Management: Manage supplies of stationery, consumables, and office equipment, ensuring adequate stock levels and efficient procurement processes. Managing kitchen supplies, tea and coffee faculties and stock level.
- Meeting and Event Coordination: Assist with booking and coordinating meetings and internal events, including setting up meeting rooms and kitchen facilities.
- Front Desk Services: Provide professional front desk services, including answering phones, greeting visitors, and managing the agency’s visitor management system.
- Travel Logistics: Manage travel logistics for agency staff and external guests when required, ensuring efficient and cost-effective arrangements.
- Information Handling: Handle and store agency information securely and in compliance with legislation, both in hardcopy and electronic formats.
- Contract Management: Develop relationships with office contract providers, serving as a single point of contact for contractual matters.
- Administrative Systems: Develop and implement office and administrative systems, such as record management and filing, to ensure efficiency and compliance.
- Customer Relationship Support: Provide support services during surge periods throughout the year, ensuring excellent customer relationships.
- Project Support: Assist with activities and undertake a range of project tasks in accordance with agreed standards and timeframes.
- Collaboration: Support or contribute to other agency projects as required, demonstrating flexibility and a willingness to collaborate across teams.
