  • APS6 - $60.26 per hour + super - 12-month contract with possible extension

ABOUT THE CLIENT:

One of our clients is now seekingAPS 5 and APS 6 Co Design Project Officers to join their fast-growing team of talented individuals.

Responsibilities:

The APS5 and APS6 Co-Design and Engagement Officer will be required to undertake specialist activities and tasks using available information where options are not always evident. It will be required to perform procedural, clerical, administrative and operational tasks that supports the agency and where required, the role will design, develop and facilitate engagement sessions with internal and external stakeholders, including the co-design of set projects.

As an APS5 Co-Design and Engagement Officer responsibilities may include but are not limited to:

  • Coordinate workshops and events for co-design.
  • Liaise with stakeholders to prepare co-design materials.
  • Maintain relationships with key stakeholders for effective engagement.
  • Engage with people with disabilities and their families using a consistent approach.
  • Represent the organization at external events, providing information to the community.
  • Proactively execute engagement projects against the Engagement Framework.
  • Deliver clear messaging to stakeholders.
  • Manage inquiries and requests.

As an APS6 Co-Design and Engagement responsibilities may include but are not limited to:

  • Analyze data and feedback to measure activity effectiveness, identify risks, and trends.
  • Contribute to developing, implementing, and monitoring targeted engagement strategies aligned with broader plans.
  • Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to facilitate participation in various engagement activities.
  • Contribute to implementing a proactive engagement strategy, including event planning aligned with organizational plans.

The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate the following:

  • Ability to shape community engagement programs by researching target audience needs and interests.
  • Evaluate stakeholder engagement projects for continuous improvement.
  • Support stakeholder engagement implementation, including meetings and inquiries.
  • Familiarity with the IAP2 engagement spectrum in human services.
  • Proficient in presenting to small stakeholder groups.
  • Desirable: Project management skills/experience and understanding of accessibility.
