THE POSITION
The NFSA will be launching a new website, CRM and email platform. We are seeking a data-driven and highly organised Digital Marketing Coordinator to support the web redevelopment project team during a period of significant digital transformation at the NFSA. You’ll coordinate tasks and keep open lines of communication to ensure the Marketing and Communications team is delivering its responsibilities on a major website redevelopment. You’ll share knowledge and develop documentation building capability and confidence in the team to utilise new platforms. You’ll execute SEO plans to build audience reach and engagement and report on the performance of website as a channel, supporting the team to achieve an ambitious 2025 vision.
The Digital Marketing Coordinator, Web Products is a key member of our Marketing & Communications team which includes marketing, design, communications and digital content. The team is split across our Sydney, Canberra and Melbourne offices.
JOB DESCRIPTION
This ongoing position requires a digital marketer with experience and skills in a wide variety of website platforms, content management systems and Google Analytics – plus a sound understanding of SEO. The successful candidate will be curious, insight driven and thrive on developing and maintaining processes and systems. We’re looking for someone with an interest in using their digital expertise to widen the reach of this beloved national institution to people all over Australia.
The Digital Marketing Coordinator, Web Products will undertake the following duties:
GENERAL
- Work collaboratively with the Melbourne-based Digital Marketing Specialist, CRM and Email. Provide cover for this role as required.
- Some after-hours work may be required occasionally during UAT or go-live periods. Flexible working arrangements are available to cover those occasions.
- This role is subject to all the relevant sections of the PS Act 1999 and the National Film and Sound Archive Act 2008. The terms and conditions of this role will be those specified under the National Film and Sound Archive Enterprise Agreement 2017 – 2020, NFSA policies and values.
- Some travel to other NFSA locations may be required.

DESIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
Qualifications and/or equivalent experience required:
- 2+ years’ experience in a digital marketing role.
- Minimum 1+ years’ experience working on website redevelopments, enhancements and bug fixes
