Our client is seeking to engage an APS6 Evaluation Officer.
Location: Canberra, ACT
Contract Length: Temp contract until 30/06/2024 with potential to transfer to Perm
Eligibility/Security Requirement: Applicants must be Australian Citizens
The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate experience in:
- Implementing government policy and programs
- Collaborating effectively with internal stakeholders to achieve results across multiple teams
- Writing impactful communication and guidance materials
- Developing and delivering clear presentations and meetings
- Organizational capabilities to support delivery of agency objectives
Additional desirable experience includes:
- Coaching staff at all levels, particularly if targeted to monitoring and evaluation principles
- Developing and implementing organizational monitoring and evaluation frameworks, including preparing evaluation templates, and guidance and education materials
Responsibilities:
Promoting the growth of Agency’s evaluation culture and capability.
Working across Agency to:
- assist delivery teams with the development of fit-for-purpose implementation plans and evaluation frameworks
- incorporate evaluative thinking into policy and program design and implementation across the Agency
- Providing direction and support for senior board meetings
- Providing strategic advice for Agency’s evaluation, review and accountability activities, including supporting evaluations and reviews undertaken by the Agency.
