Responsibilities:
ABOUT THE ROLE
The APS6 Fraud Intelligence Analyst will provide detailed technical, professional, policy, operational support and advice in relation to complex problems.
This is a 12 month Casual Contract based in Surry Hills
Pay rate $60.26 per hour plus super
DUTIES
- Utilising a Certificate IV in Government (Investigation), or its equivalent, as set out in Public Services Training Package (PSP04) to support the planning and production of financial intelligence outputs and outcomes.
- Conducting fraud assessments and producing financial intelligence reports for complex matters from the collection, evaluation and analysis of information.
- Leading tactical intelligence projects through the development of collection plans, assigning tasks, analysing financial and other information, and articulating findings.
- Complying with all relevant legislation, policy and guidelines for the management of information and the use of ICT systems and tools.
- Contributing to the development of business rules, refinements and suggested avenues of analysis and investigation.
- Producing financial intelligence products within set timeframes in compliance with legislative, policy and information security frameworks.
- Maintaining accurate files and records in relation to business decisions and intelligence activities and functions, contributing to reporting requirements.
- Providing ongoing intelligence support for matters referred for investigation.
