The Aquatics Department provides aquatic program services including the Attendant Support Initiative, Children’s birthday (pool) parties, holiday recreation activities, Swim School after school hours, the schools programs as well as aquatic facility hire to various groups including a local Swimming Club.
About the Position
The Aquatic Programs Coordinator reports to the Area Manager Aquatics for Monash Aquatic & Recreation Centre (MARC), Clayton Aquatics & Health Club (CAHC) & Oakleigh Recreation Centre (ORC). The incumbent is responsible for the marketing, promotion and sales of Aquatic Programs across three sites including the Swim Schools, School Swimming Program, Holiday Activities, Birthday Parties, Facility Hire, Special Events (including community festivals) and the supervision, training and development of the Aquatic Consultant staff. The Co-ordinator will sell Aquatic Programs when rostered.
Skills and Experience
Marketing and promotion of all Aquatics Programs and Services
Knowledge of Microsoft 365
Knowledge of Swim School Computer Management Systems
Knowledge and understanding of Aquatic Program Operations
Basic budgeting and financial management
Sales, marketing and customer service skills
Requirements
Employee Working with Children’s Check (if applicable)
Satisfactory National Police Check; and
Other pre-employment checks may be required depending on the role requirements.
