Job Description
AECOM is seeking an experienced Senior Architect to join our growing team in our Tampa, FL office. We are seeking energetic and qualified candidates to help us grow our team and provide project management for our projects and teams.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • BA/BS plus 6 Years of experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education.
  • Licensed Architect
  • Experience in required software platforms including Office, Bluebeam, Revit, AutoCAD, Rhino, Adobe, and/or similar.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Strong organizational, time management, leadership skills and character
  • Strong communicator and collaborative – ensuring clear objectives and purpose.
  • Experience leading projects from early project phase through construction phase.
  • Experience in leading Client presentations and team progress meetings
  • Experience in developing design ideas and solutions, conducting reviews and refinements.
  • Experience in building code, life safety and ADA.
  • Experience in building systems, envelope, methods and means of construction, to achieve clear documents to describe the project design and construction requirements.
  • Experience in architecture process, phases of building design, and desire to continue professional growth.

Responsibilities:

  • Work on multiple projects as assigned.
  • Assist in training and evaluation of assigned personnel.
  • Assist in development of architectural methods and techniques.
  • Collaborate with building engineers, specialists, landscape, civil, and similar. Coordination with project team and other disciplines.
  • Work under supervision of Sr Project Architect.
  • Partner with Project Manager for Client and Project success.
  • Work on Design; building technologies, innovations, and sustainability.
  • Develop relationships with vendors, suppliers, and industry innovations.
  • Work directly with contractors and construction managers.
  • Work on mid-large multiple project types with municipal, aviation, education, institutional.
  • Be a leader, contribute to office culture, and be part of building a collaborative and creative team.
