Architectural Drafter (8406)

Viera Builders, Inc. has an opening for a full time hourly paid Architectural Drafter, who will be primarily responsible for using Autodesk products (Revit and AutoCAD) to design and adjust residential drawing and specifications to meet construction requirements and provide accurate plans for permitting and Purchasing. In addition, the Architectural Drafter’s duties include the following:

• Provide the necessary updated plans per new home contract for the permitting process.
• Create and Revise bid set and lot specific plans per direction or redlines received.
• Provide new master plans to the Sr. Architectural Drafter incorporating changes from frame walks and new product.
• Assist in providing sales with custom redraws and site-specific home fits.
• Conduct on site visits as necessary to facilitate necessary revisions to site-specific plans and master plans.
• Assist in Redraw process as well as lot fits for sales use.
  Qualifications
  Bachelor’s degree in Design, Construction, Drafting, or min 4 years of construction experience. 3-5 years Drafting, Design using CAD or Revit experience. A minimum of one year Residential construction or similar experience. Other experience in Revit and some basic structural analysis preferred. Knowledge of the use of a PC and Microsoft Office Suite programs. Comfortable working within the parameters of hard deadlines while still producing error free work
