RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

• Drafting drawings of single storey, double storey, granny flat, dual occupancy for approval process (DA/CC and CDC);
• Understanding client requirements and develop preliminary sketch for their approval;
• Working with the director to form layouts;
• Interpreting plans, regulations and codes of practice (Housing code, BCA, NCC, DCP, LEP, etc.);
• Completes Building designer’s concepts by preparing drawings and plans, and liaising with builders and contractors;
• Preparing building designs and highly detailed working drawings, sketches and specifications by hand or using Revit, Cad, Sketchup, Photoshop to show details including elevation, plans, materials, landscaping, stormwater concept plan, etc;
• Prepare other supported drawings and documents for approval purpose (BASIX certificate, waste management plan, SEE, etc.);
• Interacting with local government organisations and certifiers for permissions and approvals;
• Working on NSW Planning portal for submission;
• Monitoring and managing project programs and schedule.

TO ENSURE THAT YOU ARE SUCCESSFUL IN THIS ROLE YOU WILL POSSESS/DEMONSTRATE:

• Relevant qualifications;
• Minimum 2 years experience;
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
• Efficiently managing the schedules of busy projects, ensuring streamlined workflow and timely deliverables;
• Software skill include: Revit, Cad, Sketchup, Photoshop.
