- Full-Time Architectural Technician
- $70,000 - $90,000 p.a. plus superannuation

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Architectural Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of architectural drafting principles and possess excellent technical skills. As an Architectural Technician, you will be responsible for assisting architects and designers in creating detailed drawings and plans for various projects.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Diploma or associate degree in architectural technology or related field or over.
- At least 2 to 3 years of experience.
- Proficiency in CAD software (AutoCAD, Revit, etc.) and other relevant design tools.
- Strong knowledge of architectural drafting principles, construction techniques, and building materials.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to produce accurate and precise drawings.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and independently when necessary.
- Prior experience in architectural drafting or related roles is preferred.

Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with architects and designers to develop design concepts and translate them into technical drawings and plans.
- Prepare detailed architectural drawings, including floor plans, elevations, sections, and construction details using computer-aided design (CAD) software.
- Conduct site visits and surveys to gather necessary data for project planning and design.
- Assist in the preparation of specifications, schedules, and cost estimates for construction projects.
- Ensure compliance with building codes, regulations, and zoning laws in all architectural drawings and plans.
- Communicate effectively with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders to address design requirements and project objectives.
- Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and new technologies in architectural design and drafting.
