Description:
WE’RE EXCITED TO SHARE A NEW ARCHITECTURAL TECHNOLOGIST JOB IN LONDON. THIS POSITION IS WITH A RESPECTED DEVELOPER KNOWN FOR THEIR WORK IN HIGH-END RESIDENTIAL PROPERTIES AND APARTMENTS ACROSS PRIME LOCATIONS IN THE CITY.
The company takes a comprehensive approach to its projects, with architecture, interior design, project management, and construction all managed under one roof. They are committed to delivering excellence from start to finish, aiming to elevate the standards of new home construction.
The team consists of 30 professionals, including Architects, Design Managers, Site and Construction Managers, Designers, Quantity Surveyors, and a wider construction team, all working together to achieve exceptional results.
Role & Responsibilities
- Distinct focus on leading technical and delivery stages
- Produce technical detailing to a high standard for construction
- The practice uses ArchiCAD BIM, which will be your main software, the practice also uses Microstation and AutoCAD during some parts of the projects from time to time
- Explore alternative detailing options, material take-offs, alternative procurement strategies
- Work closely with contractors/sub-contractors day-to-day
- Undertake value engineering exercises to obtain the most efficient, cost-effective, and best design solution
- Support the contractor team through the build process.
Required Skills & Experience
- A minimum of 5 years of UK experience leading or producing package information
- Strong knowledge of building regulations and technical building design
- High-end internal detailing/coordination required alongside external experience
- Residential multi-unit experience
- On-site experience
- Excellent ArchiCAD ability and up-to-date experience is preferred, applications without ArchiCAD will be considered but candidates must have BIM experience
- Must have experience leading technical and delivery stages
- Degree educated with an architecture qualification
- Excellent English, both written and verbal.

- £40,000 - £60,000 (salary is flexible DOE)
