As an Architectural Technologist you will be joining an architectural practice based in Limerick that due to growth in project pipeline are now seeking to add to their team of Architects and Technologists. This esteemed practice has a strong team and great portfolio on which they are continually building on. You can expect to have a mixture of commercial, education and healthcare projects.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

The role requires a degree in Architectural Technology with at least 5 years post graduate experience in an architectural firm with irish project experience. You should have a strong eye for detail, be able to coordinate design teams and have excellent knowledge of Irish Building Regulations/Planning systems. Site experience will be a huge bonus, and this role offers opportunity to gain site experience. You should also have great AutoCAD and Revit skills.

As an Architectural Technician you will be coming in at a intermediate/senior level, there will be a high degree of autonomy in the role for you to manage the project and provide progress updates to the directors when required. You will of course understand how to produce technical details on drawings, create planning applications which should go through successfully and also understand the building regulations applicable to the project to ensure an efficient transition of the project from design stage to build. The role offers a really collaborative work environment and a focus on CPD training to ensure you are up to date on all current construction methodologies.
