AREA BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT MANAGER (HOSPITALITY) WEXFORD

Leading Hotel Group is seeking an ambitious Area Business Development Manager to join their team. A 4 Star property, synonymous with exceptional customer service and excellent facilities is seeking a manager who can identify opportunities in the market place, as well as building on their loyal customer base.

Reporting to the GM and Group Commercial Manager, duties of the role will include:

  • Plan and implement sales strategies.
  • Increase overall sales through penetration of the corporate marketplace and booking agents.
  • Conduct Tele-sales campaigns & Face-to-Face client / business development meetings on a weekly basis.
  • Develop business relationships with clients, agencies and team members.
  • Achieve sales turnover on annual budget figures.
  • Develop an advertising and promotional plan.
  • Monitor the market and complete a competitor’s analysis.
  • Develop campaigns and promotional plans in sectors where sales are lagging.
  • Work closely with the operating departments and with the other properties in the Group to maximise service opportunities and thereby increase revenue.
  • Manage the completion of all RFPs / FIT/Tour Series contracts solicitations ensuring they are completed accurately and in line with budgeted guidelines with the Revenue Departments.
  • Deliver exceptional friendly customer service at all times.
