Job Description
As an Area HR you are responsible for supporting Sales & Profit by setting and implementing a HR strategy to deliver a Great Customer Experience in line with your Area goals and Country HR focuses. You support the Area to have Great Teams by ensuring the Global Employee Strategy is in place. You make sure that your Area actively works with succession planning, talent and leadership development and structured performance management, based on results, values and leadership. You ensure we offer all employees fair and attractive working conditions and that all employee relation responsibilities, legal requirements and H&M policies are fulfilled to meet the expectations of customers and colleagues.

Responsibilities:

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Attract, Recruit & Introduce

  • Monitor and analyse your area’s future needs, including staff rotation and expansion for all Store positions. You act and follow up to ensure the Area’s needs are consistently met.
  • Implement, facilitate, and follow up to ensure quality recruitment processes across all Stores in your area.
  • Plan, organise and follow-up Introduction Training for all roles in store including both Leadership and Sales Advisors.

Learn & Develop

  • Together with the Area Manager you support and ensure Store Managers work with structured performance management for all employees, as well as delivering twice yearly Performance Development Reviews.
  • Together with Store Managers and Area Team you follow up the development plans in your Area.
  • You map succession planning for your Stores and actively support Store Managers in developing their teams, ensuring they are working with talent and leadership development. You oversee the Area’s internal talent pipeline and support Country organisation talent needs.
  • You monitor and analyse your area’s training needs, and organise and facilitate training together with Support Office HR.

  • You act as a neutral escalation point for employees and coach Store Management and Area Teams to prevent and resolve employee-related issue.
