Description:

Applications are invited for the Area Manager Senior position to be based in Klerksdorp.
PURPOSE OF THE ROLE: The Area Manager is responsible for one or many geographical locations representing the Company in the community and promoting the brand. They will be expected to drive sales and take up and identify new opportunities. The Area Manager must develop and implement initiatives to improve customer experience and drive customer loyalty as well as build and maintain strong relationships with customers, peers and colleagues. The Area manager is required to ensure that customers receive a high level of service with any interaction that takes place with Herotel and to resolved customer complaints and operations issues that may arise.

THE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE MUST HAVE THE FOLLOWING EXPERIENCE/SKILLS:

  • Supervision / management experience is required.
  • Sales experience and a proven track record of driving sales would be advantageous.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to motivate and inspire teams to achieve goals.
  • Must be able to think strategically and develop plans to achieve their goals.
  • Should be able to analyse data, identify trends and make decisions based on that information.
  • Strong focus on customer service and be able to develop strategies to improve customer satisfaction at each location.
  • Experience in developing and implementing sales and marketing strategies to drive growth.
  • Must be able to identify problems and develop solutions to address them.
  • Need to have strong critical thinking skills and be able to make decisions quickly and effectively.
  • Ability to adapt to changes in the business environment and adjust plans accordingly.
  • Strong interpersonal skills are important, and an Area Manager must be able to build relationships with employees and customers.
  • An area manager must be able to manage their time effectively and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines and to achieve goals.
  • Creating brand awareness and an understanding of our product offerings
  • Ability to work cross-functionally with other departments.
  • A valid driver’s license is essential, and travel is a requirement for this position.

EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:

  • Grade 12.
  • Specialized qualifications would be an advantage.
