Purpose of Position:
Responsible for the performance of multiple depots, managing the processes, operations, and Phleb Leads to ensure operational goals are met and high-quality standards are maintained.
Requirements:
Management qualification (Required), Relevant HPCSA/SANC registration (Required), Relevant Phlebotomy or Nursing qualification (Required)
Required Experience:
Knowledge: Audit procedures and requirements, Knowledge: Basic Conditions of Employment Act (BCEA), Knowledge: Google and Google Mail, Knowledge: HR policies and procedures, Knowledge: Meditech system, Knowledge: MS Excel, Knowledge: MS Word, Knowledge: National Health Act, Knowledge of Ampath Safety, Health and Environment management policy, Nursing experience within a hospital and/or laboratory environment, Senior and / or supervisory or managerial experience
Key Responsibilities:
Co-ordinate the development of new depots and upgrade of current depots to ensure continuous improvement of nursing services offered, Maintain good client relations to promote the image of Ampath, Manage quality control of the regional nursing services to ensure relevant accreditation standards are upheld, Manage regional nursing services budget in order to control expenses and ensure correct allocation of funds, Manage regional nursing staff to ensure that set goals and objectives are achieved, Perform general management tasks in order to ensure best practices are implemented and upheld
