Opportunity: Area Sales Manager
Contract: Permanent
Salary: Very competitive basic salary. Uncapped commission structure available in this role. OTE €80K plus + company car)
Location: Greater Leinster based. Field based.

Due to expansion and internal promotion, we are looking for ambitious and motivated Area Sales Manager to join our successful team based in Dublin who wants to advance their career quickly. You will be responsible for managing and developing our existing sales accounts and your key to success is your ability in identifying new business for Hyster Forklift Trucks and Combilift equipment.

Responsibilities:

IN THE ROLE YOU WILL BE:

  • Managing your territory to ensure effective coverage of account base.
  • Identifying opportunities by researching industry and related events, publications, and announcements.
  • Achieving targets for new Hyster and agency equipment.
  • Developing negotiating strategies by examining risks and anticipating customer’s needs.
  • Closing new business deals by coordinating requirements; developing and negotiating contracts; integrating contract requirements within business operations.
  • Aligning knowledge gained from the local and national market to support the company and its customers.
  • Building a strong client database through effective self-generated leads.
  • Establishing and maintaining effective relationships with all stakeholders to ensure that the company is providing the appropriate range and quality of products and services.

WHAT WILL HELP YOU TO EXCEL IN THIS ROLE:

  • Extensive experience working in a sales/business development role
  • Excellent communication and relationship building skills.
  • Strong negotiation and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Full driving licence essential
