We are currently seeking an experienced Area Sales Manager to cover North Dublin and Kildare Area. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a company experiencing rapid growth and be a key player in their sales team. In this field sales role you will promote company capability and product/system awareness. Responsible for generating maximum sales of products in the designated region.
REQUIREMENTS
- Minimum 4 years of sales experience
- Experience in the industry is preferred
Demonstrable experience in sales management role that is highly customer focused, able to
anticipate and adapt to customer needs and expectations and develop and maintain customer
relationships
Ability to influence and generate sales for the company
Confident in delivering product knowledge to customers
Team player internally and externally
Ability to anticipate the needs of the customer- keep one step ahead of our competitors.
Adaptable, flexible and forward thinker
Good IT and report writing skills / effective communicator

Responsibilities:
- Drive sales of Products through pro-active customer sales activities
- Responsible for achieving regional sales targets in conjunction with Sales Manager and regional team.
- Maximise sales through calling on building projects, principally housing sites and commercial developments in the area assigned.
- Develop close commercial working relationships with Builders Merchants, their Sales Representatives and Buyers, the objective being to ensure that not alone are orders received from the merchants, but that adequate notice is provided to Works personnel, particularly in relation to major contracts and sites with special requirements.
- To ensure that the Company’s specifications and systems are used throughout contracts. Special emphasis will be placed on ensuring that orders are received for accessories and ancillary products, i.e. screws, tapes, fillers, etc.
- Regular meetings will be necessary with the Merchants’ Sales Representatives to ensure that market information is communicated, and maximum return achieved on sales to the benefit of both the Company and its customers.
- Monitor the marketplace in relation to price movement, special offers OSMs, and to keep the Regional Sales team advised of such developments.
- Prepare detailed reports, which will be reviewed at each weekly Sales Review meeting.
- Daily use of CRM and Ipad to demonstrate to clients our products and services, access to immediate data they may require etc.
- Actively participates in sales meetings.
- Develops working relationships with other team members inc. Sales team in other regions, Customer Service, Commercial, HR etc.
- Participate in networking events and seminars.
