Our client, a leader within optical lens manufacturing, is looking for an Area Sales Manager for Cape and Namibia to join their team. This position reports to the National Sales Manager.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

  • Generate revenue from an assigned geographical location by executing strategies to achieve sales targets
  • Develops close relationships with their customers to grow business and they find new customers and plays an active part in constantly expanding the business

EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Grade 12
  • Qualified Optometrist

EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS REQUIRED:

  • Minimum of 3 years experience in retail optics / wholesale sales beneficial
  • Training in general optics
  • Value chain management
  • Lens non-adapt recommendations
  • Strong Selling Skills, Proven sales record
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Sales experience is essential
  • Good technical background in product area is desirable
  • Good Sales and Presentation skills
  • IT software Excel / Power point / Word / Data analysis
  • Optical problem solving prescription to dispensing
  • Event and project organising skills
  • Committed to continuous education through workshops, seminars, and conference.
  • Customer Service Orientated
  • SF.com knowledge advisable
