The Area Sales Manager (ASM) is part of the Regional Sales Team of Wartsila Marine. You will be reporting to the General Manager Sales Denmark and will be responsible for Denmark, Poland, Lithuania, Estonia, Latvia.
The location for the position is in Copenhagen, Denmark.
The ASM will collaborate closely with Regional Sales and Product Sales Teams of different Product Lines to successfully place our fleet optimisation solutions with our customers.

REPORTING AND MARKETING:

  • Efficiently utilize sales analytics and Salesforce to steer sales activities.
  • Represent Marine at Industry Exhibitions, Conferences, etc. to promote our fleet optimisation solutions as a success factor for the decarbonization journey.

Responsibilities:

  • Bachelor’s or higher degree in Business is preferred.
  • You bring at least 5 years of relevant work experience in B2B Sales, so that you are familiar with solution based selling methodology.
  • The maritime industry with it drivers and influencers is known to you.
  • Selling and convincing people is fun to you because of your strong entrepreneurial and success driven mind-set.
  • You are able to deliver results in a matrix organisation and can excel also under uncertainties.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and team player abilities to work with different stakeholders in a fast-paced and dynamic working environment – always keeping the focus on solutions and positivity.
  • Excellent communication skills, fluency in written and spoken English. Proficiency in local languages is highly welcomed.
  • Solid command of MS Office solutions, ERP and CRM applications.
    This role requires you to travel about 20% of your working time.
