EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:

  • Basic degree in Engineering and a post graduate qualification in sales and marketing.
  • More than 5 years’ experience in a similar position and environment.
  • Previous experience working in a multi-national company.
  • Experience in or setting up distribution networks.
  • Experience in Project Management.
  • Demonstrated ability to penetrate new markets and to close deals.

Other Skills and Abilities:

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills at all levels within an international manufacturing environment.
  • Strong written and spoken English is a must.
  • Local national or permanent resident speaking and writing the local language.
  • Ability to develop an internal, informal network.
  • Proficient in the use of standard software packages.
  • Ability to work autonomously and effectively in a fast paced and evolving environment, self-motivated, with a strong entrepreneurial spirit.
  • A strong Team Player.
  • Must possess own car and travel frequently.

Responsibilities:

  • Take on full responsibility for the appointed country – Philippines for Water Management
  • Interface into the group through regional meetings, common visits and daily use of an eCRM tool.
  • Take on full commercial responsibility for:
  • Preparation for financial plans including forecasting and budgeting and the 5-year strategic plan.
  • Customer and account management e.g., receivable collection.
  • Any other metrics aligned with group objectives.
  • Responsible for developing the Water Management market segment by:
  • Define the market structures and relevant market segments.
  • Identify key customer target and their potential.
  • Work with State Authority Board, Consultants and Architects on project design and project management.
  • Identify from the NORMA Group portfolio of products and brands, the target product ranges that fits to the market needs.
  • Develop/set-up distribution partners and customers.
  • Establish NORMA Brands in the market based on innovation, value to customers, service and quality.
  • Develop marketing initiatives to promote sales of NORMA Products.
  • Build strong long-term working relationships with key authority, partners and end customers.
  • Build and sustain similar relationships with internal partners in the region, other regions and HQ.
  • Provide strong leadership to his team, ensure high morale, team work and good employee relations.
  • Actively support the Company policies, procedures, and workplace rules.
