This is a key and instrumental position in our growing UK&I Public Sector business and is central to our continued success and expansion in the UK&I. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving incremental growth and net new logos within the Public Sector across the UK&I.
This position is a second line sales leadership role and reports to the UK&I Group Vice President

REQUIREMENTS

  • 5+ years of second line sales experience in leading, growing and managing impactful software sales teams in the UK across the Public Sector.
  • Track record of success in scaling a Public Sector sales strategy in the UK&I
  • Substantiated track record of over-achievement and attainment
  • Experience in driving C-level / Senior Executive level discussions in large UK&I based Public Sector bodies
  • Verified history of consistently meeting/exceeding targets and objectives personally and as a leader.
  • Excellent leadership and influencing skills; ability to build strong business partnerships both outside, and within the organisation.
  • Verified experience in hiring, building and mentoring Public Sector sales teams
  • Ability to build and implement strategic sales plans and driving the execution of them
  • Crafting and driving strategic and transformational country and regional initiatives
  • Clear understanding of software and Cyber Security solutions
  • Ability to work in a fast paced, innovative and hyper-growth organization
  • Verified background in driving and accelerating team performance through metric management, dashboards etc.
  • Experience of Salesforce and / or other contact centre management systems
  • Working within a complex, matrix driven organization

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the UK&I Public Sector sales team consisting of three Regional Sales Directors and up to eighteen sellers.
  • Build and execute the UK&I Public Sector sales strategy with the support of our partners, marketing, sales engineering and business development
  • Meet and/or exceed sales quota assignments consistently
  • Accurately forecast against monthly, quarterly, and annual targets for the region.
  • Successfully coach your first line sales leaders to ensure that they have the correct skills to develop our front line sellers
