AEGIS is looking to hire experienced security officers and honorably discharged veterans who can work either full-time or as part-time armed and/or unarmed officers. Additional opportunities available with the company.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

• Security Agents primary role is crime prevention and customer service. for minors at a summer camp and their families.
• Security Agents assist with the functions of physical and personal security, and safety measures for clients.
• Other duties may include access control, list management, crowd control, emergency response, pat down and metal detecting search, and law, policy, and code enforcement.
• All officers who are licensed with firearms permits are hired and offered employment as unarmed security officers, and then qualify for work as an armed agent.
• There is an immediate need for both part time and full time armed security officers for all shifts in the Los Angeles area. Please speak with a recruiter regarding additional available posts

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

• Armed Officers must have California Guard Card (BSIS permit), Firearms Permit (BSIS permit), Baton, and/or Chemical Agent.
• One year experience in high end security, military, or law enforcement
• A GED or High School Diploma / Transcript & Associates Degree or some verifiable college (preferred)
• Ability to perform essential functions of the position with or without reasonable accommodation
• Have excellent ENGLISH verbal and written skills
• Be height / weight proportional and have a neat professional appearance
• Have access to reliable transportation and a track record of being ON-TIME to work
• A cell phone that receives text messages and has access to the internet as well as an email address
• Own a black business suit, white button down dress shirt, black tie, belt, socks, and dress shoes or shined boots, and a small flashlight
