Responsibilities:

As an ARMO Mechanic III, you will be responsible for:

  • Troubleshooting, testing, assembling, disassembling and performing visual inspection of electro-mechanical assemblies.
  • Assisting in reworking and repairing drilling equipment.
  • Performing complex and difficult tests with minimal instruction and documentation.
  • Being able to identify and communicate technical problems by using logical troubleshooting techniques.
  • Coaching to other technicians in areas of proven competence.
  • Being compliance with HS&E policies and procedures

To be successful in this role you will:

  • Have Electronic or Mechanical academic background
  • Demonstrate a good technical and mechanical aptitude and a desire to learn and improve knowledge and skills.
  • Have +3 years maintenance related experience in electro-mechanical function of relevant industrial experience.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, assembly prints and parts lists and follow formal procedures and maintenance practices.
  • Knowledge on hydraulic circuits and ability to troubleshoot faults.
  • Proficient in the use of multimeters, megohmmeters, hi-pot testers and other basic instruments.
  • Basic level of analytical ability to find solutions to complex technical problems.
  • Advanced computer skills.
  • Be a team player with ability to work independently and demonstrate good problem-solving and analytical skills
