BresicWhitney is on a mission to be Sydney’s leading property group. It’s an ambitious yet achievable plan that has our people firmly at the centre.
With an in-house Creative Team, the BresicWhitney brand has long been revered as one of the best in the industry. It’s one that not only ‘brings homes to life’ but that brings ‘BresicWhitney’ as a brand and an experience, to life, for our people, our clients, and our communities in ways that are memorable and meaningful.
With ongoing business growth, we’re seeking a passionate and collaborative Art Director who knows the importance of a clear, confident aesthetic, but with the creativity and flexibility to adapt, grow and extend the brand into new phases and places. Equally importantly in this role is your willingness to be hands-on with projects, design work and more. Your previous experience in leading teams, will see you manage and be responsible for a group of creatives. Your ability to coach, mentor and guide a diverse team of technical professionals across design, photography and retouching is critical to the success of this role.

  • 5-10 years in a comparable role with strong previous graphic or visual design experience.
  • Experience in leading a team and helping develop others to their full potential. You must be as passionate about team success as you are individual success.
  • A relevant tertiary qualification, with higher education in computer-based graphic design highly regarded.
  • Proven experience in effective project/concept delivery, and willing to be hands on to deliver outcomes.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to manage stakeholders and competing priorities across various levels and stages.
  • Willingness and interest in being in the office 4-5 days per week, with ability to travel to BresicWhitney’s various offices across the Inner East, Inner West and Lower North Shore.

  • Working closely with the technical team across graphic design, photography and retouching to create and deliver our very best creative work.
  • Creating and delivering work, in collaboration with the team, that is curious, inspiring, challenging and not afraid to push the boundaries of what we’ve done, seen or felt before.
  • Leading the conceptualisation in look and feel of coveted annual BresicWhitney events, merchandise and more.
  • Working closely with the Communications and Content team to bring projects to life and deliver work that enhances our messaging and objectives.
  • Acting as a brand champion for BresicWhitney and the work of the Creative Team, along with fellow leaders.
