Art Instructor / Teacher & Studio Manager

at  LITTLE PALETTE

We are looking for a full-time art teacher / instructor and studio manager. Our art studio conducts art enrichment classes, mostly for children from ages 4 to 12. Other clientele are teenagers, parent-child pairs and adult art jammers. The responsibilities are:

• To maintain the visual appeal and tidiness of our art studios
• To ensure art supplies are well-stocked
• To build rapport with our customers, including handling their enquiries
• To plan the teaching schedules of freelance art teachers
• To run art camps and lessons on weekdays and Saturdays
• To plan curriculum with senior art instructors

Work days are Tuesdays to Saturdays.
We have one studio at Mohamed Sultan, near UE Square, and another at Pandan Valley.
You will have to shuttle between both studios.

Requirements:

• Have had an art education, understand art history, concepts and techniques
• Enjoy working with children
• Have a friendly disposition to create a welcoming environment
• Have the confidence to converse with parents about their child’s progress
• Be willing to improve their teaching practice based on feedback
