JOB DESCRIPTION

We are seeking a dynamic AI Strategist specializing in healthcare solutions to join our consulting firm. As an integral part of the team, you will be responsible for providing expert guidance and delivering innovative AI solutions tailored to the unique needs of clients, primarily federal government healthcare clients. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of both artificial intelligence and healthcare industry challenges, enabling the successful deployment of cutting-edge technologies to drive client success. You will guide clients and their organizations in leveraging AI technologies to enhance their operations, improve patient outcomes, and optimize cost management. You will collaborate closely with leadership, technical teams, and healthcare stakeholders to drive innovation and transformation in the healthcare industry.

• The offer of this full-time position is contingent on the contract being awarded. The position will remain a fulltime role beyond end date of an awarded contract.

As an AI Strategist, your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

Business Needs Analysis

• Collaborate with clients to understand their specific challenges and goals.
• Conduct thorough needs assessments to identify opportunities for AI integration in healthcare workflows.
• Contribute to the development of practical and relevant AI use cases aligned with business needs.

Customized AI Solutions

• Design and develop customized AI solutions that address the unique requirements of healthcare organizations.
• Provide strategic recommendations on leveraging AI to enhance operational efficiency and patient outcomes.
• Ensure the creation of datasets and environments necessary for AI model training and testing.

Implementation and Integration

• Oversee projects involving the seamless integration of AI solutions into healthcare systems.
• Work closely with client IT teams to integrate AI techniques into existing business processes, implement processes to measure AI effectiveness, and identify/mitigate potential risks associated with implementation.

Data Governance and Compliance

• Advise clients on best practices for data governance, ensuring compliance with healthcare data privacy regulations.
• Assist in developing strategies to securely manage and leverage healthcare data for AI applications

Client Training and Support

• Develop training opportunities for healthcare professionals and staff on the effective use of AI applications.
• Provide ongoing support to clients, addressing AI system functionality concerns, and contribute to team AI competency development and educational initiatives.

Market Research and Innovation

• Stay informed about the latest trends and innovations in both AI and healthcare industries.
• Conduct market research to identify emerging technologies and opportunities for AI application.

Project Management

• Lead and manage AI implementation projects, ensuring they are delivered on time and within budget.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and client stakeholders to achieve project goals

REQUIRED EDUCATION, SKILLS, AND EXPERIENCE

• Minimum of 5 years full-time, post-graduate professional experience
• Advanced degree in Computer Science, Healthcare Informatics, Data Science, or a related field.
• Strong understanding of healthcare standards, compliance, and regulatory requirements.
• Experience applying AI techniques (e.g., machine learning, computer vision, natural language processing, etc.) to meet specific business needs
• Experience working with large datasets in a health care context (e.g., drug discovery, patient data management, automated customer service) to impact patient care and services.
• Familiarity with programming languages such as Python, TensorFlow, PyTorch, or similar.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey technical concepts to diverse audiences.
• Project management experience and the ability to lead cross-functional teams.

PREFERRED EDUCATION, SKILLS, AND EXPERIENCE

• Experience working in or with a large healthcare organization, particularly experience in implementing AI solutions within the healthcare sector
• Experience applying AI and Machine Learning techniques to large datasets in a healthcare context (e.g., drug discovery, patient data management, automated customer service) to impact patient care and services.

• Team leadership experience
• Experience managing senior client relationships
