DESIGNATION : AS400 Developer

QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in AS400 development within the banking industry.
• Experience in the banking or financial services industry, particularly with credit card systems, is highly desirable.
• Strong understanding of system analysis, design, and integration.
• Expertise in application development and maintenance on the AS/400 platform.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team a fast-paced environment.

• Design and develop AS/400 applications to support core banking functions.
• Implement new features and functionalities based on business requirements.
• Ensure code quality and maintainability through best practices and code reviews.
• Analyze existing systems and identify areas for improvement or integration.
• Work with cross-functional teams to integrate AS/400 applications with other banking systems.
• Develop and document system specifications and designs.
• Develop and execute test plans to ensure the reliability and performance of AS/400 applications.
• Perform debugging and troubleshooting of applications to resolve issues.
• Collaborate with QA teams to ensure thorough testing and quality assurance.
• Provide ongoing maintenance and support for AS/400 applications
• Monitor system performance and make necessary adjustments to optimize performance.
