ABOUT THE POSITION

SRS is currently seeking an enthusiastic, highly motivated, and capable Crisis Management Supervisor to join one of its most prestigious contracts in Singapore. The selected candidate will be exposed to a high-performance environment that is fast-paced, and dynamic; supporting the round-the-clock operations at the dedicated APAC Security Control Center.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in International Relations, Strategic/Security Studies, Political Science, Business or a related discipline, or any closely related field of study
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience working with or in crisis management, security operations center environment, etc
  • The ability to receive and relay direction, and have ability to multi-task and coordinate several incidents at once
  • Strong verbal and written communications skills
  • Strong service/interpersonal skills especially during times of crisis
  • Strong interest and familiarity with international current events
  • Familiarity with tools such as Everbridge (VCC), Intel tools, access control and surveillance tools, etc. is strongly preferred
  • Ability to make critical decisions, prioritize issues and initiate appropriate response with minimal supervision
  • Sense of urgency in a 24/7 work environment for quick response to critical developing issues

Responsibilities:

  • Report directly to the ASCC Manager and work in a team of other Supervisors, Specialists, a Security Systems Supervisor, and an Intel Supervisor
  • Ensures proper distribution of notification via the Emergency Mass Notification System (i.e.Everbridge) as well as appropriate management and reporting of the system
  • Liaise with regional security partners to ensure that training procedures and policies are implemented
  • Support the Family Assistance program and other relevant crisis management programs in relation to the ASCC
  • Administers Crisis Management operational programming e.g. Satellite phone testing, Emergency Mass Notification testing, etc
  • Maintain close links with key stakeholders to ensure that all crisis management projects are implemented with the highest degree of professionalism
  • Develop robust strategies, structures, and systems to ensure that the ASCC is prepared for, and can respond effectively to, critical events and other periods of heightened tension
  • Collaborate with the Crisis Management team to develop strategic long-term roadmaps to mitigate risks regionally
  • Manage and coordinate security communications operations ensuring that security procedures are implemented and followed as per the ASCC Procedures (SOPs);
  • Coordinate the daily development and dissemination of intelligence and operationally based reports to support our Global Security and regional business partners
  • Coordinate and support emergency and crisis management assets providing a timely and coherent response to incidents as they arise;
  • Liaise with Regional Security Managers, Regional Intel, and all other required company personnel to ensure that all relevant security information is disseminated in a timely manner
  • Partner with and communicate with global security partners to conduct tactical security assessments as required, and where necessary provide feedback on proposed mitigation strategies for country and regional specific threats;
  • Execute the design and implementation of project related security strategies, security policies/standards and establish a concrete course of action for their implementation and review;
  • Provide support by monitoring open sources for breaking news and current events that affect the company, its employees, and guests across Asia Pacific
  • Maintain close links with key stakeholders to ensure that all projects are implemented with the highest degree of professionalism safety and security;
  • Support development of policy, procedures and protocols for future ASCC operational and technological integrations
  • Serves as the first responder for information by assisting employees domestically or internationally with security- or travel-related emergencies;
  • Have a full understanding of the functions, roles and systems used at all sites, such as Security, Incident management & escalation, CCTV, etc
  • Perform other duties as assigned by ASCC Management staff
  • Assist in the effective implementation of the regional employee travel safety and security program
  • Some meetings outside standard business hours will be required
