- Asphalt laboratory testing to match current NSPW requirements – Marshall Method and Superpave Method, in both a central lab and mobile lab environment.
- Familiar with current NSPW End-Product-Specification Asphalt specifications and familiarity with asphalt mix properties to propose mix changes or adjustments as needed.
- Receiving and properly recording all field samples for testing and/or holding.
- Communicate results effectively with client and Englobe supervisor.
- Maintain proper record of field test results for review and subsequent submissions.
- Apply and promote Englobe’s health and safety rules
Your Profile:
- Technical degree or diploma in civil engineering (or equivalent);
- Minimum 5 years of working experience in a similar engineering field;
- CCIL certification considered an asset;
- Team-oriented and an excellent communicator;
- Valid driver’s license; and,
- Willingness and ability to travel throughout Nova Scotia on a required basis.
