Asphalt Plant Supervisor

DESCRIPTION

We are currently looking for a Supervisor to join the team at our East Tamaki Asphalt Plant. This is a busy role, we manufacture 600 to 1,250 tonnes of Asphalt per day and we utilise the latest technology to blend and mix aggregate, bitumen, modifiers, polymers, fillers, and pelletised fibre.
In this role you will be managing a team of 5 staff alongside the operational management of the plant including customer & subcontractor management, health and safety auditing, quality assurance, stock management and overseeing planned plant maintenance.

• Experience in asphalt, bitumen or concrete manufacturing
• The ability to look after the day to day plant operation to ensure high productivity and daily outcome targets are met
• Ideally you will have experience managing a team on a day to day basis, setting goals and programming the days movements, including team resourcing
• Strong organisation and planning skills with an ability to deal with unexpected events and provide clear direction to operational teams
• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Strong track record of commitment to health and safety
• Class 1 licence with WTR
