WHAT SKILLS YOU NEED

• Experience developing and deploying operator work instructions.
• Experience with process development, tooling design, fixturing, and workstation layout.
• Experience with bill of materials structure, build papers, and ECN process execution.
• Demonstrated ability to work in a team environment.
• Effective communication skills

EDUCATION

Ideally, you will have a degree or equivalent related work experience in the following:

• Bachelor’s degree in an Engineering /Technology discipline or equivalent work experience.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

As an Assembly Manufacturing Engineer at John Deere Commercial Products located in Grovetown, GA you will provide assembly ME support and basic troubleshooting for current operations. In addition, you will:

• Drive improvement projects positively impacting Safety, Quality, Cost, and Efficiency with Natural Work Group and operator engagement.
• Support implementation of new products and manage ECN/CI change control for current production.
• Research, initiate, and execute safety and ergonomic improvement activities and projects.
• Rigorously execute assembly process audits.
• Lead the analysis, development, and implementation of new manufacturing processes and technology aligned with the Smart Connect Factory strategy.
